A small Window can give you more insight than you might expect, if you don’t walk by but step up and look at whats behind.

As a young child, the base characters mum is the main person in their life

Getting older, they make friends, grow closer with some and more distant with others

I really liked the idea that, you can only look into a room behind a narrow window if you stand directly in front of it. You can see the window from a distance and even a small part of the room when passing by, but if you really want to know what is inside the room, you need to go close to the window

Then I extended this thought to a more abstract level: you can see a moment of someones life by looking through their eyes.

Going forwards/ backwards you move through time so you can follow a person through their life.
To the side you can see what other people are doing at this point in time. The closer 2 people are to each other in the hallway, the closer they are in their life
